Privacy Policy

• Photos you upload of your catch, and the artwork we generate from them.
• Your email address, when you save your designs, place an order, or contact us.
• Order & shipping details (name, shipping address, phone number if you give one, and payment confirmation), collected through Stripe at checkout, or through Etsy if you order there. We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage & device data collected automatically through cookies, pixels, and our own visit counter: pages viewed, the link or ad that brought you here, browser type, and approximate location based on your IP address.

We use your information to create your artwork, process and fulfill your orders, send order confirmations and shipping updates, send marketing emails you’ve opted into, provide support, measure our ads and improve the site, and prevent fraud and abuse.

To create your artwork, the photo you upload is sent to our AI providers (listed below) to generate the image and to check its quality. We use your photo only to make your artwork and fulfill your order. We do not sell your photos or use them in our advertising without your permission.

We keep your uploaded photo and generated artwork indefinitely so you can come back to your saved designs and so we can reprint or re-deliver your order. The files are stored at unlisted, hard-to-guess web addresses, so anyone who has one of those links can open it. You can ask us to delete your photos at any time by emailing us.

We share information only with the companies that help us run the business, and only what each one needs:

• Stripe: payment processing, and the name and shipping address you enter at checkout.
• Gelato and Lumaprints: our print providers, which make and ship physical prints (they receive your artwork and shipping details).
• Etsy: if you order through our Etsy shop, Etsy shares your order and shipping details with us so we can fulfill it.
• Google (Gemini), xAI (Grok), OpenAI, Replicate, and Anthropic (Claude): AI providers that process your photo to generate the artwork and check its quality.
• Klaviyo: marketing email and on-site activity tied to your email.
• Resend: order confirmations and other transactional emails.
• Vercel: website hosting, analytics, and file storage for your photos, artwork, and order records.
• Google Analytics: measuring how the site is used.
• Microsoft Clarity: recordings of how visitors move through the site (clicks, scrolling, and taps) and heatmaps, so we can find and fix confusing pages. Text you type into forms is masked and never recorded. Clarity follows the same choices as the ad pixels below.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok: advertising pixels that measure whether our ads lead to visits and sales. When you buy, we also send Meta and TikTok the purchase value along with your email, phone, name, and address in a scrambled (hashed) form, so they can match the sale to an ad. You can turn this off (see Your privacy choices).
• Pinterest: an advertising tag that measures whether our Pinterest ads lead to visits and sales, including the value of a purchase made in your browser. It follows the same choices as the pixels above.
• PromoteKit: affiliate and referral tracking, which uses a cookie to credit the partner who sent you.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions (your cart, saved designs, and checkout), analytics, affiliate referral tracking, and ad measurement. The Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest pixels and Microsoft Clarity load only for visitors in the United States who haven’t opted out. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work without them.

We don’t sell your personal information for money. Sharing data with ad platforms to measure our ads may count as “selling” or “sharing” under some state privacy laws, so we let you opt out of it. Opting out turns off the Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest pixels in this browser and stops us from sending those platforms your purchase.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out automatically.

If you give us your email, we may send you a discount code and occasional updates. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. We’ll still send transactional emails about orders you place.

We keep order records, including your name, email, and shipping address, for as long as we need them for tax, accounting, and customer support, generally at least seven years. Your email stays on our marketing list until you unsubscribe. Photos and artwork are kept as described above. Visit and analytics data is kept in summary form.

Depending on where you live (for example, California and other U.S. states with privacy laws), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it or delete it, and to opt out of ad sharing as described above. To make a request, email us. We’ll respond as required by law and won’t treat you differently for using these rights.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

The Service isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
