Frame Your Catch

About us

Your best fish deserves better than a phone gallery

Most great catches end up as a photo nobody looks at again. We turn that photo into a piece of art that hangs on your wall, faithful to the fish you actually caught.

Why we started

The old options were a skin mount or a fiberglass replica. A skin mount means keeping the fish. A replica does not, which is the part most people never hear, but both still mean waiting the better part of a year and paying more than most anglers want to spend on one wall. Meanwhile the photo sat on a phone with a few thousand others.

Flat taxidermy, explained

Flat taxidermy is a mount you hang like a picture. We work from your photo to rebuild the fish as artwork, keeping its real markings, color and proportions, then print it at true-to-life scale and frame it. Tell us the length and a 22-inch walleye comes back 22 inches on the wall.

A replica lets you release the fish too. The difference is what it costs you to get there: months of waiting and several hundred dollars, against a photo and about a week.

How it works

A clear side-on shot of your catch works best.

  2. 2

    Preview it free

  3. 3

    We print & ship it

Framed, as a poster, or a digital file. Ready to hang.

We do not draw a generic fish

This is the part we care most about. Your photo is the reference, so the spots, scars, fin shape and coloring come back as the fish you caught, not a stock illustration of the species. We clean up the shot and straighten the pose. We do not invent a better fish.

You see the finished artwork before you pay a cent. If it is not right, do not buy it.
